Mondeor LPR Project

Mondeor LPR Project – Still the Most Successful Crime Prevention Tool

Over the past few years, Mondeor Sector 1 has become a leading force in License Plate Recognition (LPR) enforcement. The CPF, in partnership with our sponsors CPS Security and Fox Tactical Security, together with ground support from Mondeor SAPS, JMPD, and the Gauteng Wardens, has consistently maintained a zero-tolerance approach toward vehicles sought by SAPS.

Just recently, a vehicle wanted for theft at one of our local shopping centres was intercepted by JMPD following continuous updates from our LPR system.

On 11 September, Fox Tactical Security successfully tracked a vehicle linked to robberies in our sector using the LPR network. One suspect was arrested and taken in for questioning.

These are just two examples of the many successes achieved through the Mondeor LPR Project—demonstrating its ongoing and positive impact on the safety of our community.

We extend our sincere thanks to our sponsors, CPS Security and Fox Tactical Security, for their unwavering support of the CPF and the community at large through this initiative.
